VC999 Packaging Systems was founded more 35 years ago by Bernhard Inauen. The company remains, today, family owned and headquartered in
Herisau, Switzerland. The company is recognized around the world for their engineering design and manufacturing expertise in
packaging machine systems.
The company has continued to grow and expand over the years opening a second manufacturing center in Kansas City, Missouri. This US facility designs and manufactures the thermoformer machines systems and also manages the company’s other three brands, XtraPlast.com, Perbetum SMART Automation and XtraVac. In 2011, the US manufacturing center celebrated 25 years of sales, manufacturing and service.
The company currently employs more than 250 people worldwide and has manufacturing, distribution and service offices in more than 20 countries. VC999 is dedicated to continuing its drive to be a global leader in the packaging systems and products industries.
